She spent too many years at the University of Arizona, changing majors a multitude of times and finally ending up with a B.S. in computer science. Continuing on in life, she has worked mostly with Perl and Java in the last few years. In the family tradition of not sitting still, Nancy has ous hobbies, which include quilting (pieced and applique, hand and machine quilting), stained glass (anything that doesn't break yet), martial arts (she is approximately halfway to a black belt in Tae Kwon Do), amateur radio (QRP mostly), and reading (anything with words).
