克勞斯‧曼(Klaus Mann)

歐洲作家中反對法西斯最活躍的一員。1937年，他搬至美國，開始用
英文創作，並於1943年成為美國公民。1949年，他在法國坎城自殺。
克勞斯‧曼的作品被翻譯成超過二十國的語言。最廣為人知的是《梅菲
斯特》(Mephisto)、《轉捩點》(Turning Point)、《安德烈‧紀德和
現代思想的危機》(Andre’ Gide and the Crisis of Modern
Thought)、《脫韁的生命》(Escapeto Life)。
