Jos Eugenio Borao Mateo(Zaragoza, Spain, 1955)

received his PhD in history from the Universitat Autnoma of Barcelona in 1989. Soon afterwards he joined the faculty of the Department of Foreign Languages at National Taiwan University where he is currently professor of Spanish language and culture.
