瑪莎．納思邦

當代最多產、最具獨創性的思想家，論述橫跨法律、社會、政治、倫理領域。
芝加哥大學恩斯特‧弗洛恩德法律與倫理學傑出貢獻教授（Ernst Freund Distinguished Service Professor），任教於哲學系、法學院、神學院。納思邦教授是美國當代著名的自由主義學者，出身戲劇及古典學研究，專攻古希臘哲學、情感哲學；她也是女性主義倫理學的重要理論家，論及倫理及法律問題時強調情感的地位。近年來她積極投入公共議題的討論，和諾貝爾經濟學獎得主沈恩（Amartyr Sen）共同關注第三世界的經濟問題和婦女問題，也為社會正義的各種議題發聲。她啟發自亞里斯多德和馬克思及經濟學的「能力取徑」，讓政治自由主義的正義理論獲得嶄新面貌。
