作者簡介

Owain Mckimm

Owain Mckimm is a University of Cambridge graduate who
has been working in Taiwan since 2009. He has taught
English to learners of all ages and levels, and is also a
freelance writer. He has written for numerous publications
in Taiwan, including travel and culture magazines, English
teaching magazines, books, and webzines.
英國劍橋大學（University of Cambridge）英文學系學士，在臺
灣工作將近10年。曾任英文老師，同時也是一位自由作家，撰寫過
無數出版品，包括旅遊與文化雜誌、英語教學雜誌與書籍、網路雜
誌等。目前為專職英語教材作者。


Connie Sliger

Connie Sliger received her education at the University of
Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She spent thirteen years at Saint
Leo University where she worked one-on-one with
students as Coordinator of University Ministry and Adviser
to the service organization, The Samaritans. In literary-
based programs, she nurtured students’ willingness to
speak out about social justice, spirituality, global issues,
and diversity.
畢業於美國威斯康辛大學（University of Wisconsin）。曾於聖里
奧大學（Saint Leo University） 擔任了13年的大學事工召集人
（Coordinator of University Ministry）和服務組織「The
Samaritans」的指導顧問，與學生進行一對一的教學。在文學基
礎課程中，她鼓勵學生主動表達對於精神事物、全球議題、多元性
和社會正義的看法。


Zachary Fillingham

A Canadian by birth, Zachary holds a BA in International
Relations from York University in Toronto and an MA in
Chinese Studies from the School of Oriental and African
Studies in London, UK. His guiding principle in life is a
passion for learning, and this trait led him to Taiwan
where he worked as an English teacher and began writing
and editing textbooks for ESL students. Apart from his
extensive experience as a freelance writer and translator,
Zachary has also worked as the Managing Editor for a
politics website and a consultant for one of the world’s
largest finance companies.
來自加拿大，多倫多約克大學（York University in Toronto）國
際關係學士（BA in International Relations），英國倫敦東方及
非洲研究學院（School of Oriental & African Studies）中國文
學碩士（MA in Chinese Studies）。人生哲學是「以熱忱之心學
習」（a passion for learning）。曾於臺灣任職英文老師，也撰寫
英語教科書，經歷包括自由作家、翻譯、政治網站總編輯，及全球
知名大型商業公司顧問。


Richard Luhrs

Born and raised in and around New York City, I graduated
from the State University of New York in 1988 with a BA
in English composition and philosophy. After brief periods
working as a permissions editor at Random House
Publishers in New York and a writer and editor at First
Tuesday Publications in Riverside, California, I joined the
Peace Corps in 1992 and began both my EFL teaching
career and life as an expatriate in rural Thailand. Having
previously written material for National Taiwan
University’s Language Teaching and Testing Program as
well as several small scholastic publishing houses, I am
glad and excited to be back in the field I first trained for
and worked in after all these years.
美國紐約出生，紐約州立大學（State University of New York）
英語寫作系與哲學系（BA in English Composition and
Philosophy）雙學士。曾於紐約蘭登書屋等知名出版社擔任編輯。
1992年加入和平隊（Peace Corps），外派至泰國從事英語教學志
願服務。之後二十餘年間曾於日本、南韓、中國、台灣、印尼、沙
烏地阿拉伯、緬甸、寮國等地從事英語教學工作。如今以台灣為
家，曾替LTTC 財團法人語言訓練測驗中心及各出版社編寫英語教
材。

劉嘉珮

2004年跨入英翻中全職筆譯的領域，憑著一股喜愛英文的熱忱以及
努力找資料的傻勁，磨練對語言文字轉換的敏銳度，從零開始慢慢
累積經驗與口碑，逐漸成為受到客戶青睞與推薦的譯者。翻譯經驗

蘇裕承

高雄人。斯拉夫語文學系畢、新聞研究所。曾接案寫稿、當過社群
編輯、翻譯，現任職媒體；工作不時得盯著螢幕，所以把電腦桌布
設成毛小孩兩隻。懂俄語、學波蘭文，覺得華語和台語特別有意
思。


蔡裴驊

台大外文系畢，教過英文、當過導遊、開過有機咖啡館，三進三出
