連續創業約六年，曾從事平面設計、網路行銷、財務金融、創業投資等項目，熱愛文學、藝術、心靈成長與冒險，現為MarsBee煋蜂品牌加速坊網站平台執行長。

於臺灣零確診後正式推動平台服務，目前正投入於商業計畫書撰寫，協助中小企業成功貸款、募資及補助，另也提供VI設計、網站設計、SEO優化、出版行銷等實務經驗與創業資源協助中小企業發展品牌。

我是Charles，因為臺灣，我得以安全地發展我的事業。

With six consecutive years of entrepreneur experiences, he has been engaged in graphic design, Internet marketing, financial and venture capital projects, with passion and love in literature, art, spiritual growth and adventure. He is now the executive director of the brand accelerator website platform MarsBee. After zero diagnosis in Taiwan, the platform officially initiated its services. At present, it provides services of writing business plans to assist small and medium businesses in applicat, fund-raising and subsidies. In addition, it also provides practical experience and entrepreneurial resources such as VI design, website design, SEO optimization, publishing and marketing to help small and medium businesses to develop their brands.

I am Charles, because of Taiwan, I have been able to develop my career safely.

Now, I want to promote Taiwan through this book, so that Taiwan can help the world.

我是位英文老師也是位自由譯者，在溫哥華成長、學習並生活了10幾年，現在很開心回到心愛的台灣來創造我的夢想。

I am an English teacher and a freelance translator who has lived and studied in Vancouver for more than ten years, and now I am back in my beloved homeland, Taiwan.

Having experienced two distinct cultures and education systems, I deeply feel that language is the most critical communication tool in understanding culture and how we get closer to each other.

My dream is to help everyone unafraid of communication, so I hope to assist my students in finding the courage and passion in learning and being comfortable using English for communication, not just treating it merely as something that can only be used in classrooms and tests. Only with passion and the desire to know more can we have the drive to continue learning, and thus transform a foreign language into our second language.

Everyone learns differently, and that’s why I customize my curriculums according to students’ needs. This book is also a customized content about a topic that all of us in the world can relate to at the moment. I’ve had the honour to translate this book, hoping that language will never be a barrier in communication, the spread of ideas and information. No matter if you are a Chinese reader or an English reader, you may all find something worthwhile from this book.
