莉迪婭．佩恩

作家兼歷史學家，研究領域關注科學史、物質文化史。德州大學奧斯汀分校（University of Texas at Austin）歷史研究所（Institute for Historical Studies）擔任合作研究員。她的文章和論文曾刊登於《時代》雜誌（Time）、《大西洋》雜誌（The Atlantic）、《鸚鵡螺科學》雜誌（Nautilus）和《公眾領域評論》（Public Domain Review）等刊物。著有《七副骸骨：人類化石的故事》（Seven Skeletons: The Evolution of the World s Most Famous Human Fossil）、Genuine Fakes: How Phony Things Can Teach Us About Real Stuff、Endlings: Fables for the Anthropocene等書。
