作者簡介

益田肇（Masuda Hajimu）

　　出生於大阪，畢業於立命館大學國際關係學部。曾任職於報社，之後赴美發展，擔任高中日語教師。隨後進入西北學院（Northwest College）取得副學士學位，並於羅格斯大學（Rutgers University）取得學士學位，在康乃爾大學（Cornell University）完成博士學位。現任新加坡國立大學歷史學系副教授，專長領域為東亞近現代史、美國外交史，以及具全球視野的社會史研究。
