彼得．高登
Peter B. Golden

哥倫比亞大學博士。自1969年起任教於羅格斯大學歷史系，現為羅格斯大學歷史系榮退教授、羅格斯大學歷史系中東研究中心主任，曾多次獲得美國國家人文基金會研究獎助的榮譽，是享譽學林的突厥民族史學者。

著有：《可薩人研究：針對可薩人起源的歷史—文字學研究》(Khazar Studies： An Historico－Philological Inquiry into the Origin of the Khazars)、《突厥系諸民族歷史導論》(An Introduction to the History of the Turkic Peoples)、《中古歐亞的遊牧民與定居社會》(Nomads and Sedentary Societies in Medieval Eurasia)與《遊牧民及其俄國草原鄰族：突厥、可薩與欽察人》(Nomads and their Neighbours in the Russian Steppe： Turks， Khazars and Qipchaqs)等作品。

Carter Vaughn Findley

哈佛大學博士。現為俄亥俄州立大學人文學科榮譽退休教授。曾任世界史學會、土耳其研究學會會長。主要研究領域為伊斯蘭文明史、鄂圖曼帝國與近代中東史。

著有Turkey， Islam， Nationalism， and Modernity： A History， 1789－2007、Ottoman Civil Officialdom： A Social History、Bureaucratic Reform in the Ottoman Empire： The Sublime Porte， 1789－1922等書與學術論文多篇。
